Free Drive-Thru Soup lunches beginning on Thursday, November 5th.
We cannot safely accommodate the number of people we get inside the building; therefore, we are regrettably changing to a Drive-Thru Only option this year. We will serve as always from 11:30 AM until 1 PM, unless we run out. Anyone who stops by will get the soup of the day, crackers, either corn bread or a biscuit (Depending on what we are serving that day) and a desert of either 2 cookies or bars. (Again, depending on what we are serving that day.)
Delivery to those in St. George who do not have transportation options can be arranged by calling the Church parsonage at (207) 372-2075.
The Menu for November is as follows:
• Thursday, November 5 We will have Clam Chowder or Chili
• Thursday, November 12 We will have Chicken Soup
• Thursday, November 19 We will have Hamburger Veggie Soup
• Thursday, November 26 – Thanksgiving, we will not be serving this day.
March 25 Update on Status of the Town During this Pandemic During this pandemic we urge everyone to follow the Governor’s orders and guidance, to protect the health of us all. We will get through this difficult time, relying on the good sense and solidarity of this community. We want to thank all citizens for their help and support for each other while we ride this out together. The Town Office is staffed but closed to the public; please call 372-6363 if you have any ques tions about Real Estate Tax payments, re-registering vehicles, buying Hunting & Fishing licenses, re-registering boats, etc. We will be glad to assist you any way we can. We appreciate you conducting as much business as possible via US mail or online. The Transfer Station is ONLY accepting bagged trash and cardboard; if you can, please store other recyclables until this restriction is lifted or include them in your bagged trash.
